This tank has been recently redone since the Cyperus helferi for the other tank came from this one.  I'm still
deciding whether I'm happy with the way the driftwood is arranged and I'm really undecided about the
assorted hygro polysperma in the right rear corner.  I'm going to let the tank settle for a few weeks before I
make a decision about the hygro.  If I decided the hygro isn't working, I'm going to be stuck for ideas about
which plant to use.  There are quite a few odd sprigs of plants tucked into this tank.  The original scape
looked too bare.

Currently the only occupants of the tank are 4 cory cats.  The other fish were shuffled to other tanks during
the rescape.  I'm still deciding what other fish to put in this tank.  I'd like it to have a restful feel and I'd like to
choose some fish to take advantage of the large, open area on the left and something else that will enjoy the
tangle of wood on the right.

I've made a few changes:  I'm back to
crypts in the rear right corner, the
anubias are gone and limnophila
aromatica is tucked in between the
wood.  There've been a few other
minor changes, but the rosette plants
have mostly been allowed to stay put.
They're starting to settle in nicely.

The plants are continuing to fill in.  I'm pretty happy with how the tank is shaping up.  I
couldn't resist playing in Photoshop a little--the contrast between the plants didn't show up
well in the original photo.

This tank has been through several rescapes since this photo--I wish I'd taken pictures.  I
converted this tank to a gravel over soil substrate a few months ago.  I'm pleased with the
improvement in plant growth.  The soil leaches tannins into the water, but that's starting to
slow down.  It looks a little sad right now.  The water sprite in the right, rear corner was
overgrown and I just replaced it with a baby.  I've got a few new plants in here that are in the
process of converting from emersed to submersed growth--not attractive.
